PROFIL FORENSIK PADA JENAZAH YANG DIPERIKSA DI RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG TAHUN 2018-2022
Preliminary : One of the important aspects in identifying bodies and forensic investigations is the time of death (post mortem interval). time of death is determined using the estimating the time of death method. This is important to know because the exact moment of death is not possible to determine. The estimated time of death can be identified by observing the signs of death on a dead body. This of course must begin with identifying signs of death itself. Time of death (post mortem interval/ PMI) can be divided into three types based on stages, namely immediate, early and late stages. Method: The type of research used is descriptive research with prevalence studies. The type of data used in this research is secondary data sourced from the database of death certificates and the results of examinations of corpses examined at the Forensic and Mortuary Installation of Dr. RSUP. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang for the period January 2018- December 2022. Data was analyzed using a frequency distribution test. Results: From the data processing results of the 135 bodies examined, it was found that the majority (79.3%) were accident victims with 57 bodies examined (42.2%) being in the 26-45 year age group. Most Estimated Time of Death is 2-8 Hours (37.8%). Conclusion: Time of Death, Post Mortem Interval, Signs of Death, Forensic Profile.
