Background: Patient adherence is the key to success in the treatment of endometriosis. Monitoring of drug side effects needs to be done in order to obtain appropriate treatment results. Patients need to know information about the presence of side effects of leuprolide acetate injection drugs. This study was conducted to determine the incidence of side effects of using leuprolide acetate injection drugs after endometriosis surgery at the Reproductive Endocrinology Fertility Polyclinic of Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang for the November 2023 period. Method: This study is descriptive (survey) using sample interviews in this study are endometriosis patients who underwent postoperative leuprolide acetate injection treatment in the period November 1-30, 2023. Sampling was carried out with a total sampling technique of 30 samples. Data collection is carried out according to inclusion criteria. Data was analyzed descriptively using SPSS version 26 Results: From 30 samples, the incidence of side effects of using leuprolide acetate injection in endometriosis patients was 90% (90%). The proportion of side effects was nausea (40.7%), sleep disturbances (33.3%), breakouts (44.4%), hot flashes (66.7%), dizziness (48.1%), hair loss (25.9%), vaginal dryness (37%), amenorrhea (66.7%), diarrhea (22.2%). Conclusion;incidence of side effects of using Leuprolide Acetate injection in endometriosis patients at the Reproductive Endocrinology Fertility Polyclinic of Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang is 90%. The proportion of side effects of leuprolide acetate injection drugs is highest in amenorrhea and hot flashes side effects
