POLA PENGGUNAAN CETIRIZINE PADA PASIEN DERMATITIS KONTAK ALERGI DI PUSKESMAS SEKIP PALEMBANG
Background. Allergic contact dermatitis is a disease characterized by inflammation of the skin caused by a type IV hypersensitivity reaction. Therapy that can be given to allergic contact dermatitis patients is by using medical therapy in the form of systemic treatment such as antihistamines, one of which is cetirizine. This study aims to determine the pattern of cetirizine use including frequency, period of administration, and characteristics of allergic contact dermatitis patients in the form of gender and age who received cetirizine therapy. Method. This research uses descriptive secondary data, using medical records at Sekip Palembang Community Health Center. There were 34 of 49 patients who met the inclusion criteria. The sampling method is total sampling Results. The majority of sufferers of allergic contact dermatitis are the late elderly or 56-65 years old (32.4%) and women (58.8%). Rationality based on accurate diagnosis (100%), accurate indication (100%), accurate duration of drug administration (97.1%), accurate frequency of drug administration (100%) and accurate drug interactions (93,7%) Conclusion.
