This study aims to develop interactive video learning media based on contextual models on the material of socio-cultural diversity in Indonesia class V SD Negeri 02 Palembang and describe the validity, response of students and teachers, and the effectiveness of learning media. The type of research used is ADDIE model development research (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data collected through observation, documentation, interviews, validation sheets, response questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. The results of the validation assessment from media experts are 95% with a very valid category, validation from material experts is 95% with a very valid category, and linguists are 95% with a very valid category. The practicality score at the individual test stage was 100% with a very practical category, the small group trial was 93% with a very practical category, and the response trial to the VA homeroom teacher was 100% with a very practical category. The effectiveness measured in the pretest and posttest trials using the N-gain score calculation was 0.71 with a high category. High effectiveness illustrates that the use of this product has been able to improve students' cognitive learning achievement. Thus, the product in the form of an interactive video is very good so that it can be applied in the process of teaching and learning activities.
