ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR TINGKAT TINGGI DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL HOTS MATERI LAJU REAKSI
This research aims to analyze students' high-level thinking abilities in solving HOTS questions on reaction rate material at SMA N 1 Indralaya. The subjects in the research were 34 students taken from class XII IPA 3. This research used a quantitative approach using quantitative descriptive data analysis. The instrument used in the research was a HOTS question sheet which consisted of 9 questions in the form of descriptive questions. The questions used have three cognitive dimensions, namely analyzing (C4), evaluating (C5), and creating (C6). The average value of the analysis results shows that the high-level thinking abilities of the 34 students have a percentage of 51.14% which is categorized in the very low category. As for the three cognitive dimensions, students' high-level thinking abilities have a percentage of 52.45% for analyzing ability (C4) which is categorized in the very low category, 73.04% for evaluating ability (C5) which is categorized in the medium category, and 27.94 % for the ability to create which is categorized in the very low category.
