GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN, SIKAP, DAN PERILAKU LANSIA TERHADAP PENYAKIT STROKE DI POSYANDU LANSIA PUSKESMAS SEKIP
Background: Stroke is the first cause of death in Indonesia which occurs most often in the elderly age group. Knowledge, attitudes and behavior regarding stroke are useful for efforts to prevent and treat stroke in the elderly, this will influence the incidence, morbidity and mortality of stroke in the elderly. This study aims to determine the description of knowledge, attitudes and behavior towards stroke at the Posyandu for the Elderly at the Sekip Health Center. Methods: This research is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach. The data used is primary data from the results of filling out direct questionnaire interviews conducted with 47 elderly people at the Sekip Health Center Elderly Posyandu as the research sample. Result: The majority of respondents had completed elementary school education (25.5%) with the proportion of women (76.6%) and men (23.4%). Most respondents had no family diagnosed with stroke (89.4%) and no family diagnosed with stroke (74.5%). The results of measuring the knowledge, attitude and behavior variables of the elderly towards stroke showed that 28 respondents (59.6%) had good knowledge, 26 respondents (55.3%) had poor attitudes, and 27 respondents (57.4%) had lacking behavior. Conclusions: Most of the elderly at the Sekip Community Health Center's Elderly Posyandu have good knowledge, poor attitudes and poor behavior towards stroke.\ Keywords: Stroke, Knowledge, Attitude, Behavior, Eldery
