Administratively, the research location is in the Berkun area and its surroundings, Sarolangun Regency, Jambi. The topographical conditions found at the study site are dominated by hilly areas with a tendency for steep slopes to be the main factor affecting the movement of rock and soil masses (slides). The research method uses a field observation approach to obtain evidence of the presence of landslides in the study area and then processed using remote sensing analysis by utilizing GIS software to process DEM data, Landsat 8 data and other supporting data to obtain the parameter of the vegetation index (NDVI) and relief diversity. Analysis of the level of landslide vulnerability using the NDVI parameters and relief diversity shows that there is a relationship between the two parameters. In this case, there is a high level of relief diversity, so there tends to be a low vegetation index value. An overlay is needed on all the parameters that have been made by calculating the data so that later you get an output in the form of a landslide hazard map. The results of the analysis show that the study area is at a medium level of landslide vulnerability
