Self-compacting concrete (SCC) is the latest environmentally friendly concrete innovation with numerous advantages. SCC can replace conventional Portland cement with industrial waste products, potentially reducing air pollution. As an integral material in construction, concrete has evolved with advancements in technology and scientific knowledge in the construction field, including the construction of structural elements such as high beams. Deep beams, made of concrete, are susceptible to shear, which can lead to structural failure before reaching the moment-bearing capacity. This study focuses on high beams using Self-compacting concrete (SCC) and aims to analyze the shear behavior of these beams under monotonic loads. The analysis is conducted using the ANSYS program with the finite element method. The results of the ANSYS analysis include load-deflection curves to determine the yield point, ductility, dissipated energy, stress contours, displacement contours, structural stiffness, and shear effects. A comparison with experimental results shows a difference of approximately 0.045%. In SCC material, type SCC1 with a 50 mm spacing variation has the smallest deflection compared to other SCC types. As the spacing of shear reinforcement increases, the deflection of the beam decreases, indicating an enhanced shear resistance of the beam.
