PROSES PIROLISIS BAN BEKAS DENGAN VARIASI TEMPERATUR UNTUK MENGHASILKAN MINYAK.
This research aims to analyze the total volume of pyrolysis oil at each temperature variation tested and analyze the density, viscosity and heating value of the pyrolysis product. This research was carried out in the Basic Phenomena Laboratory at Sriwijaya University using experimental methods, where this method was carried out testing the pyrolysis process on car tires with temperature variations of 300oC, 350oC, and 400oC. In the pyrolysis process of used car tires, the highest oil production was at a temperature of 400°C with the amount of oil being 184 ml and the lowest oil production occurred at a temperature of 300°C viz 143 ml. The highest density value was produced at a temperature of 350°C with a value of 861,5 kg/m3 and the lowest density was produced at a temperature of 400°C with a value of 853,5 kg/m3. The highest viscosity value was produced at a temperature of 400°C with a value of 0.682098465 kg/ms and the lowest viscosity value was produced at a temperature of 350°C with a value of 0.681345441 kg/ms. The highest calorific value is found at a temperature of 400°C with the figure 9388.8451 cal⁄gr and the lowest calorific value is produced at a temperature of 300°C with the figure 8896.8532 cal⁄gr
