ANALISIS VARIASI LEBAR REFLEKTOR MENGGUNAKAN CERMIN DATAR TERHADAP DAYA KELUARAN PANEL SURYA POLIKRISTALIN 10 WP.
As technology develops, energy needs will increase, therefore there is a need for innovation in energy use, namely by utilizing alternative energy, namely solar energy. In solar power plants, the most important component in converting solar energy into electrical energy is the solar panel. Solar panels are able to produce electrical power based on solar radiation, solar panel temperature, and weather conditions. The use of additional components in the form of reflectors can focus sunlight towards the surface of the solar panel. So this research was carried out using three 10 Wp polycrystalline type solar panels and the addition of flat mirror reflectors with widths of 5 cm, 10 cm, 15 cm and installed on the four sides of the solar panel in order to determine the difference in output power. Solar panels with a flat mirror reflector width of 10 cm have maximum current, voltage, output power and efficiency values compared to solar panels with a flat mirror reflector width of 5 cm and 15 cm. Solar panels with a flat mirror reflector width of 10 cm have a maximum current of 0.64 A, maximum voltage of 19.16 V, maximum output power of 12.37 W and efficiency of up to 16%. This is because solar panels with a reflector width of 10 cm have an optimal temperature limit to produce greater output power compared to solar panels with a reflector width of 5 cm and 15 cm.
