EVALUASI KINERJA CRUSHING PLANT DALAM UPAYA PENCAPAIAN TARGET PRODUKSI CRUSHED COAL DI PT. JASA LAKSA UTAMA, KABUPATEN LAHAT, SUMATERA SELATAN.
In the mining business sector, the main thing in the mining stage is production. However, besides that there is one stage in the coal mining process that plays an important role in determining the continuity of the mining business, namely coal processing. The coal processing carried out is the process of reducing the material by crushing according to the coal desired by consumers or the market. In addition to factors from the processing unit, the failure to achieve production targets can also be caused by efficiency in working hours and material supply. The production target set for this month has not been achieved, thus hampering the process of transporting and selling by the company to consumers. Based on the background of the problem, this study aims to: (1) Know and analyze the productivity of the crushing plant unit at PT. Jasa Laksa Utama; (2) Analyze the obstacles that occur in the crushing plant unit in achieving the crushed coal target at PT. Jasa Laksa Utama; (3) Analyzing efforts to increase crushed coal production at PT. Jasa Laksa Utama. The crushing plant is a series of mechanical equipment that is assembled into a series of equipment that are interconnected in one activity. The next series is used to reduce the size of the mining results. In general, the equipment used in the processing is all the equipment used and required in the mineral processing activity cycle (Rizka et al, 2017). One unit of processing equipment is usually called a crushing plant which consists of a hopper, feeder, primary crusher, secondary, belt conveyor, screening and so on. The research method used is to link between actual data theory in the field so that analysis and solutions are obtained in solving problems. The calculation results show that the effective working time in the crushing plant unit is 383,16 hours from the available time of 744 hours with a work efficiency of 51,5%. Based on the calculation of the availability of the crushing plant unit, the value of Mechanical Availability (MA) is 91,45%, Physical Availability (PA) is 92.52%, Use of Availability (UA) is 55,65%. Based on observations in the field, crushed coal production in May 2022 was only 242.942,59 tonnes, which means that crushed coal production was only 72% of the planned production target.
