The location of OKU Selatan or so Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan regency is surrounded by ridge either of hills or mountains and dominated with high contour area. The probability of this terrain being affected by landslide is considered to be high. Based on the matter, this research was carried out to be providing infromation for handling in order to avoid and minimize the impact can be caused by any landslide disaster. Methods ised in this research are scoring, weighting, and overlay of spatial data on landslide-prone area with weighting parameters. The factors assessed in this studThe factors assessed in this study consisted of rainfall, rock lithology, slope, land cover, and soil type. This locality noted to be dominated by vulcanic rocks, andosol soil type, the slope range from rather steep to steep, land coverage diverse to woods and estate, also high rainfall where the values range from 2748 to 4700 mm per year. Based on the results of the research analysis then identified that the Beringin Island region and the surrounding area have moderate to high level of vulnerability to landslides.
