This study aims to determine the effect of chain message picture cards on the early reading ability of Class A children in TK Islam Az-Zahrah Palembang. The research method applied is pre-experimental with a one-shot case study design. Class A1 Naim was selected as the research sample, consisting of sixteen children, with eight boys and eight girls selected using purposive sampling. Observation was used as the data collection technique. After the data were collected, analysis was conducted using a one-sample t-test. The calculation results show that the t-value is three point five eight while the t-table is one thousand seven hundred fifty-three. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, while the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. The conclusion drawn from this study is that there is a positive influence of using chain message picture cards on the early reading ability of Class A children at TK Islam Az-Zahrah Palembang.
