PURWARUPA PEMANTAU KEBISINGAN BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS (IoT)
Noise pollution in the environment, particularly in workplaces and educational settings, poses negative impacts on human health. In 2018, the government set Noise Threshold Values (NTV) to protect workers from NoiseInduced Hearing Loss. Campuses, as educational environments, also have noise threshold limits that need to be maintained to create conducive conditions for students. Measurement of noise levels in cities is crucial, and in 2023, the development of the Internet of Things (IoT), especially with the introduction of 5G networks and edge computing, plays a vital role across various sectors. Research conducted at Telkom University's Open Library using an IoT-based sound monitoring system contributes to understanding the noise levels in the campus environment. It covers regulatory aspects, city-level measurements, and technological developments, providing a foundation for comprehending the impact of noise on human well-being and future technological advancements.
