This research aims to examine the influence of the base sector and non-base sector on economic growth in Pagar Alam City. The data used in this research is timeseries data from 2010 to 2022. In determining the base sector and non-base sector, this research uses Static Location Quotient analysis and Dynamic Location Quotient analysis, which is then continued with a typology klassen analysis. Multiple linear regression analysis was also used to estimate the influence of the base sector and non-base sector on the economic growth rate of Pagar Alam City in 2010-2022. The results of this research show that only the base sector has a positive relationship and a significant influence on the economic growth rate of Pagar Alam City in 2010-2022, this is because the base sectors in Pagar Alam City are the agricultural sector, the construction sector, the educational services, the food and drink accommodation provision sector and other basic sectors make a significant contribution to the economy of Pagar Alam City.
