This study focuses on describing the analysis of the difficulty of writing beginnings in children aged 5-6 years at RA Insanul Amal, Talang Padang Village, Buay Pemaca District. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research approach, and the data collection methods used include interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is the Miles and Huberman model, which is to reduce the data collected in the field, present it in the form of a brief narrative, and make conclusions based on the evidence. In this study, using two research subjects, namely the class teacher and class B children. The results of the study showed that group B children experienced difficulties in writing beginnings. These difficulties include not yet perfect in the pronunciation of letters, not recognizing letters as a whole and still difficult in distinguishing letters that have similar shapes, still cedal in speaking, unbalanced distance and size of letters, improper way of holding a pencil. Analysis of the results shows that class B learners show various types of difficulties. Keywords: Writing, 5-6 Year Old Children, Letters, difficulties
