Over the times, there is a tendency that leads to reduced desire for preservation of the State of culture, espacially cultural and village architecture of Palembang. Various efforts are always made to bring Palembang culture continues to grow and evolve without having to leave their original identity. Planning and designing riverside tour village Palembang was a Palembang traditional architectural design practice with their activities as a form of cultural preservation of Palembang and give the different tourist attractions in the river. Village and tourist functions became the main planning flmctions. Function provides a platform for Population village to do their activities daily, shelter, Iivelihood, social and cultural traditions. Tourism function, giving shape village attractions, cultural attractions and river tours. This planing is expected to provide a change and can give examples of the better village form.
