ANALISIS MEAN TIME BETWEEN FAILURE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRODUKSI MINEGEM 30 KTPD PADA TAMBANG BAWAH TANAH DOZ PT. FREEPORT INDONESIA
Underground mining Deep Ore Zone (DOZ) currently has the challenge of handling the wet muck.. Wet muck drawpoint is a condition that has a degree of wetness of 8.5% and > 5cm size distribution of the material is less than 30%. Wet muck is dangerous to be produced manually, then the production team uses minegem system (Automated LHD machines) for safety work of a potential spill out. Minegem system is a technology that allows Load Haul Dump (LHD) is operated independently (remote) without operator in the cab for safe operation. Since 2015, DOZ minegem production average per day did not achieve the target 30ktpd. Based on the research, production achievement is affected productivity, physical availability (PA), utilization availability (UA) and total fleet. Failure unplanned (unplanned downtime) is the dominant factor affecting operating LHD time. The more event of unplanned down and duration of the repairs so the less operating time. Results of the study, minimize unplanned down event may reduce some of the reason major factors with method Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) in order to know the time reliability of Load Haul Dump (LHD) for 24 hours and operating time/shift. Based on actual data, to increase production MTBF 30ktpd require an average of 22 hours/ day, an average operating time of 13.02 hours/day and MTTR can be solved with an average time of 4.5 hours/day.
