The continued dcvclopmcnt of human activity raises a variety of issues, including the hcalth problem. Increasing levels of public education have an impaet on the increasing awareness of healthy living. This situation Ied to the emcrgence of community demand for health Services of high quality with also high comfort. Hospita! as one of the health facilities are required to bc able to provide quality Services in accordance with the standards preseribed. A wide range of health Services performed in hospitals, one of which is the surgical Service. Number of surgical operations in the world has increased by 20 years. An increasing number of surgical procedures must be balanced with adequate facilities and equipment. However, currently in Indonesia, hospital with surgical facilities and fiilly equipped tool has not spread evenly. Most hospitals that have facilities located in big cities. Besides, there are still many people who prefer to doing overseas operations due to more comprehensive facilities and quality of hospital medical staff are also more trusted by most people. So does that happen in the city of Palembang. Therefore, special medical facilities for surgical facilities should be built to improve medical care by developing surgical care institutions to improve the welfare of the community, especially in the health seetor in the city of Palembang.
