Arosuka is the Capital city of Solok Regency which located in West Sumatra province. As a new Capital city, Arosuka experiencing a lot of development, one of them is The Integrated Urban Forest and Park of Arosuka’s project. This facility held a lot of activity, include green open space, but not providing accommodation for visitors that come from out of town yet. This resort exist as decent lodging facilities for that visitors, as well as participants of annual intemational cycling race, Tour de Singkarak. Since Solok famous for its solok rice, the choosen concept is bareh-edutaiment, which lead visitors to leam the process of creating bareh (rice) in the form of a delightful tour around the resort. This resort provide facility for many fuction, such as accommodation (cottages), meetings (hall and meeting room), complementary (restaurant, bar and coffee shop, food court, gym, spa and sauna) and bareh-edutaiment gallery. To overcome the extreme contour yet prevention fforn the earthquakes, the resort build in plenty-mass form with quite small size, in floating and semi floating shaped, and last but not least, equipped with the signature roof gonjong, as the characteristic of Minangkabau traditional architecture.
