Anemia in pregnancy is a health problem that occurs in developing countries and contributes to high morbidity rates in pregnant women. This research aims to find out what factors influence pregnant women compliance in consuming blood supplement tablets of the Alang Alang Lebar City Health Center Palembang working region. This research is descriptive analytic with a cross sectional design. The sample consisted of 60 samples using random sampling method. Data analysis carried out using univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The data then presented in the form of tables and narratives to interpret the data. Research result shows that 76,7% of pregnant women in the Alang Alang Lebar Community Health Center working area are compliant consuming blood supplement. Bivariate analysis using chi square shows that there is a relationship between attitudes (p value = 0,015; PR= 5,481; CI= 1,517- 19,813), knowledge (p value = 0,004; PR= 77,578; CI= 1,838-31,277), and family support (p value = 0,038; PR= 4,111; CI= 1,148-14,727). Meanwhile, the variables that have no effect are the variables of employment (p-value= 0,770; PR=1,222; CI= 0,366-4,083), education (pvalue=1,000; PR= 0,754; CI= 0,651-0,875) and the role of health workers ( pvalue= 0,415; PR= 3,462; CI= 0,202-59,228) on compliance in consuming blood supplement. Multivariate test results show that the dominant factor influencing pregnant women's compliance in consuming blood supplement is the attitude variable (p-value= 0,017 PR= 6,752; CI=1,399-32,580). It can be concluded that there was no effect between work, education and the role of officers health towards compliance in consuming blood supplement tablets. It is recommended that the attitude variable remain included in the research, because attitude is the most influential variable in this research.
