The gas industry sector as a fuel in its operational activities has the potential for emergencies so that gas companies must be prepared in efforts and prevention of emergencies. The purpose of this study is to analyze the Implementation of Emergency Response in the LPG Gas Area of PT Kalindo Matesu Goautama Palembang. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with in-depth interviews, observation, and document review from 5 key informants and 4 supporting informants who were selected by purposive sampling. The validity test uses triangulation of sources, methods, data and compares them with the Indonesian National Standards andNational Fire Protection Association. The results of the study show that PT Kalindo Matesu Goautama Palembang already has an organization, procedures, and emergency response training in accordance with regulatory standards. Active protection facilities in the form of detectors, alarms, sprinklers, fire extinguishers, hydrants and life-saving facilities in the form of exit guides, evacuation routes, emergency exits and assembly points get an average value of above 60% which is categorized as in sufficient condition. Emergency response training is given to employees and there must be trainingfirst aid and disaster simulation, emergency exits were found that did not meet the standard distance between doors and obstructing plants, alarms did not meet standards exceeding 30 meters, evacuation routes did not meet standards which exceeded 60 meters. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the implementation of emergency response at PT Kalindo Matesu Goautama Palembang has been carried out but emergency response training needs to be given additional training for all company residents, compliance with active protection systems, and appropriate standards in life-saving systems to be improved.
