This thesis is entitled “The Dynamics of the Movement of the Pagaralam Branch Islamic Student Association in the World of Student Affairs in Pagaralam in 2016-2022. The problem raised by the author is how the dynamics of the establishment of branches that concern matters concerning the Islamic Student Association (HMI) of the Pagaralam Branch contribute to the world of student movements in the city of Pagaralam and stimulate students to distribute their rights and obligations as human beings. In this paper the author uses the historical method, the historical method is an observation technique in filtering data and clearly listing and correlating these data to theoretical propositions. Through this paper, the author tries to describe the discussion regarding the dynamics of the Movement of the Pagaralam Branch of the Islamic Student Association in the world of student affairs in Pagaralam in 2016-2022. The expansion of the HMI Pagaralam Branch began with the holding of the Basic Akbar (Cader Training 1) which was held collectively by the West Sumatra HMI Board of Trustees, the Palembang Branch and the Baturaja Branch which took place at the Darul Muttaqin hut, Pagaralam city. The process of the birth of the Pagaralam HMI Branch was pioneered by three groups, namely the board of the Sumbagsel HMI Board of Trustees, alumni of the Palembang branch of HMI who were massively active in the organizational realm in Pagaralam and early members of the Pagaralam branch of HMI. During the 2016-2022 period, the conditions for cadre and movement experienced a lot of internal dynamics within the organization, in which this organization was only formed and legalized on July 17 2017. The ups and downs of the movement were heavily influenced by the unstructured management system and the departure of administrators who were at the end of their studies. until a branch meeting is held. Until 2022 HMI Pagaralam Branch has established itself as a full branch in the organizational structure of HMI from the central level to the full commissariat level, regardless of the dynamics and dilemmas of the cadre procession which are still at a more mature stage of administrative development.
