PEMBERIAN ASI EKSKLUSIF BERDASARKAN SOSIODEMOGRAFI KELUARGA DAN FAKTOR PREDISPOSISI DI KABUPATEN SELUMA
Background :Breast milk (ASI) is a source with a balanced composition for the growth and development needs of babies. Exclusive breastfeeding is required for babies aged 0-6 months to reduce morbidity and mortality rates in children. This research aims to provide exclusive breastfeeding based on family sociodemographics and predisposing factors in breastfeeding mothers. Method:This research is descriptive analytic with a cross sectional study method. The sampling technique for working areas of community health centers in 4 selected sub-districts was non-random sampling from 22 existing community health centers with a sample of 98 breastfeeding mothers in Seluma Regency. The research results showed that there was a relationship between education, knowledge, attitudes and actions with breastfeeding mothers in Seluma Regency. Multivariate analysis showed that the most dominant factor was the actions of breastfeeding mothers and the PR value =5.68. Mothers who have poor practices are 5.68 times more likely to not breastfeed exclusively than mothers who have good practices..
