This research aims to compare the plant identification abilities of students using conventional techniques and the plant identification abilities of students using an android-plant identification application in biology learning at senior high school. Respondents in this research were 70 students from SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang. Design in this research was one group pretest-posttest design using nonequivalent dependent variable. Data analysis used independent sample t-test. Before carrying out the independent sample t-test, the things that must be done first are the normality test and homogeneity test.
