Stunting is a growth and development disorder experienced by children due to poor nutrition, repeated infections and inadequate psychosocial stimulation. Apart from that, stunting is also caused by various factors, one of which is environmental factors. This research aims to determine the relationship between healthy home environmental factors, access to clean water, drinking water, healthy latrines, waste management, and healthy homes on the incidence of stunting in Ogan Ilir Regency in 2023. This research uses a case control study on the population of household stunting incidents in Ogan Ilir Regency in 2023. Sampling was carried out using a purposive random sampling technique, obtaining 201 samples with a ratio of 1:2 for stunting cases and controls. Collecting data in research by analyzing secondary data and primary data obtained through filling out questionnaires, interviews, measuring water quality. There is no relationship between clean water sources, colored water sources, tasted water sources, smelly water sources, foamy water sources, daily water adequacy, alternative sources, drinking water sources, water treatment before drinking, physical quality of drinking water (TDS, turbidity, pH , temperature), chemical quality of drinking water (chloride, Mn), toilet factors, waste processing factors and healthy home factors (p value = > 0.05) on the incidence of stunting in households with toddlers in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency in 2023. These physical environmental factors are not directly related to the incidence of stunting.
