The incidence of dermatitis at the Tanah Abang Health Center is included in the 10 largest diseases in the Tanah Abang Health Center working area with an increasing number every year from 2018 to 2021. In 2018 the number of dermatitis diseases was 167 people, in 2019 as many as 184 people, in 2020 as many as 193 people and in 2021 there was another increase of 229 people. This study aims to determine the relationship between personal hygiene and the physical condition of the room with the incidence of dermatitis in the Tanah Abang health center work area. This study is an analytical observational study with a Case control design. Sampling was done using purposive sampling technique. Respondents in this study were 147 respondents in the Tanah Abang Health Center work area. Temperature and humidity measurements were taken in the respondent's living room using a Thermohygrometer tool. Data analysis using chi-Square test. Based on statistical data, it shows that of the 5 variables studied, 4 variables are related, namely hand and nail hygiene (p-value=0.006), bed hygiene (p-value=0.017), clean water facilities (p-value=0.039), and room humidity (p- value=0.001). While the room temperature variable is not associated with the incidence of dermatitis (p-value=0.366). poor personal hygiene can be at risk of causing dermatitis, so it is hoped that the community can make efforts to improve personal hygiene related to hygiene.
