DETERMINAN PARIWISATA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DAN PENYERAPAN TENAGA KERJA PADA 10 DAERAH DESTINASI PRIORITAS DI INDONESIA
This research aims to analyze the influence of tourism determinants, namely, the number of tourists, the number of tourist attractions, the average length of stay of guests at hotels and the number of restaurants or eateries on economic growth and employment in 10 priority destination areas in Indonesia. The data used in this research is panel data consisting of 10 priority tourist destination provinces in Indonesia with the time span in this research being 2017-2022. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression include the Chow test, Hausman test and Langrange multiplier test. The results of this research show that: 1) The number of tourists, the number of tourist attractions, the average length of stay, and the number of restaurants or eateries have a significant and positive effect on economic growth in 10 priority destination areas in Indonesia, and 2) The number of tourists, the number of attractions tourism, and the number of restaurants or eateries have a significant and positive effect on labor absorption in 10 priority destination areas in Indonesia.
