This study aims to see the distribution of HOTS in high school physics books class XI. The books to be analyzed came from publishers Erlangga, Grafindo, Yrama Widya, and Intan Pariwara. Sub-discussion to be analyzed from each book is Equilibrium of Rigid Body and Elasticity. Data collection is carried out with careful reading and with using an instrument in the form of a HOTS analysis table. Furthermore, the data will be analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. HOTS distribution contained in high school physics books class XI published by Erlangga by 8% in chapter 1 and 8% in chapter 2. HOTS distribution in high school physics books published by Grafindo by 20% in chapter 1 and 20% in chapter 2. The distribution of HOTS in high school physics books published by Yrama Widya is 43% in chapter 1 and 50% in chapter 2. Meanwhile, the distribution of HOTS in high school physics books published by Intan Advertising by 55% on chapter 1 and 40% on chapter 2.
