PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA FLIPCHART BERBASIS TEMA DIRIKU UNTUK ANAK USIA (5-6) TAHUN
This study aims to develop knowing self media to introduce the concept of knowing self which are tested validly and practically. This development uses the ADDIE development model with a modification of the Tessmer Formative evaluation model. The ADDIE development stage consists of three stages, namely the planning stage, the development stage, and the evaluation stage which consists of the self evaluation, expert review, one to one evaluation, and small group evaluation stages. Data collection techniques using walkthrough and observation. The results of the expert review show that the material validity of 95% is obtained from content validity and construct validity, content validity refers to the suitability of the media with the curriculum and construct validity refers to the appearance of the media according to the characteristics of children aged (5 – 6) years. Media validity gets a percentage of 90% consisting of educative, presentation, and aesthetic/beauty aspects. From the results of the validity of the material and media obtained an average percentage of 93% in the very valid category. The one-to-one evaluation stage involved 3 children with 92% results and the small group evaluation stage involved 6 children with 93% results and from both of them an average percentage of 92,5% was categorized as very practical. This research only reached the small group evaluation stage because it was only to see the validity and practicality of a product. From all the stages carried out, it can be concluded that the product of flipchart media for the introduction of the concept of knowing self aged (5-6) years is stated to be very valid and practical, so that it can be applied in learning for children.
