ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN MULTIREPRESENTASI MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN FISIKA PADA KONSEP GELOMBANG
This study aims to determine the multirepresentation ability of physics education study program students using the concept of waves. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. Data collection in this study was carried out directly using the classroom and involving 47 students of the 6th semester of physics education at Sriwijaya University in the 2022/2023 academic year. This study uses a reasoned multiple choice instrument totaling 10 questions which are divided into several types of representation questions, namely verbal, mathematical, pictures and graphs. The results showed that the highest representation was in mathematical representation by 95%, the percentage of verbal representation ability was 85%, the type of image representation was 63% and then the lowest multirepresentation ability was graphic representation by 42%. The results of this study are expected to provide a representation of the multirepresentation ability of Physics Education students of Sriwijaya University.
