Pemulutan District, Ibul Besar II Village, is one of slum area and has the second largest population in Ogan Ilir Regency. This research aims to conduct an environmental sanitation risk assessment in Ibul Besar II Village in 2023. The type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach using the Environmental Sanitation Risk Assessment method. The research population was all households in Ibul Besar II Village, and then a sample of 100 respondents was taken using proportional random sampling. The research results showed the IRKL value which will be used to categorize environmental health risks by using the calculation interval of the total maximum risk index and the total minimum index, the IRKL value for each RW in Ibul Besar II Village is found to have a minimum value of 171 and a maximum value of 317. The conclusion is that RW I was a low- risk population, a medium-risk population score (RW 5 and RW 6), RW 2 was a high-risk population, and a very high-risk population score (RW 3 and RW 4). Variables that contribute highly in RW 3 and RW 4 are throwing away rubbish into the river, not having a wastewater disposal channel (SPAL), open defecation (BABS) and unsorting waste. This is due to the fact that the majority of respondents are still lacking in implementing Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS). Therefore, it is recommended to equalize sanitation facilities in Ibul Besar II Village.
