Diarrhea disease is one of the main health problems in the country’s development and the cause of death. Based on statistical data for 2021 the incidence of diarrhea in Lubuklinggau City is included in the 5 most common diseases affecting the local community. Poor maternal hygiene behavior and inadequate availability of clean water sources can be a factor in the occurrence of diarrhea in toddlers. Especially in infants, the purpose of the research is to determine the relationship between maternal hygiene behavior and the availability of clean water sources with incidence of diarrhea in toddlers in the working area of the Megang Health Center North District II Lubuklinggau City. This research is quantitative using a cross sectional study approach. The number of samples use 84 respondents, and determined by purposive sampling. Technique of collection data using questionnaires. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test. Result shows that the there is a relationship between mother’s education (p-value = 0,037), and behavior maternal hygiene (p-value = 0,000) with the incidence of diarrhea on toddlers. While the age of mother (p-value = 0,908), mother’s occupation (p-value = 0,408) and availability of clean water sources (p-value = 0,244) there is no relationship. With the incidence of toddlers in working of the Megang Health Center North District II Lubuklinggau City is influenced by the level of education and maternal hygiene behavior. Education is recommended regarding washing hands with soap and water flowing and applying the 6 steps of hand washing.
