HUBUNGAN PERSEPSI STRES DAN AKTIVITAS FISIK TERHADAP STATUS GIZI LEBIH PADA REMAJA DI SMA NEGERI 10 PALEMBANG.
Overnutrition is a condition where body weight exceeds normal body weight. In Indonesia, nutritional problems in adolescents play an important role in the quality of adolescent development, balanced nutritional needs are needed for physical growth and development. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between perceived stress and physical activity on nutritional status in adolescents at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang. The research design was cross-sectional study with 92 respondents from SMA Negeri 10 Palembang. Data were collected using PSS-10 (Perceived Stress Scale) and IPAQ-SF (International Physical Activity Questionnaire-Short Form) questionnaires and using anthropometric measurements to see their nutritional status. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test. The results showed that the respondents consisted of 35.9% male students and 64.1% female students with the proportion of students who were overnourished was 27%. The results show that there is a significant relationship between stress perception (p-value 0.002) to overweight nutritional status with a percentage of students experiencing severe stress as much as 66.7% and for physical activity (p-value 0.021) there is also a significant relationship to overweight nutritional status with a percentage of students doing light physical activity as much as 41.2%. For adolescents, it is expected to pay more attention to the food that will be consumed by choosing foods that are nutritionally balanced and have a level of stress and physical activity in order to achieve normal nutritional status.
