Self-efficacy affects one's effort, persistence, resilience, selection of tasks and student achievement. Group counseling can be used to help prevent and alleviate problems and assist students in increasing self-efficacy. This study aims to determine the effect of group counseling on students' self-efficacy at SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang. The research method used is the One Group Pretest- Posttest Design experimental method. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA II Plus who were identified as having low self-efficacy. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling, with a total sample of 10 people. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire (questionnaire) that has been tested for validity and reliability. Questionnaires were given before and after being given treatment, namely group counseling services. The data analysis technique used is the Wilcoxon signed ranks test and Normalized Gain. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in self-efficacy scores after being given treatment, the average pretest score was 65 in the low category. After being given treatment, the average score was 86 in the high category. The difference in average scores after being analyzed based on the Wilcoxon test is known asymp.Sig. (2- tailed) is worth 0.005. Because the value is 0.005
