Nutritional status and breakfast are closely related with concentration on students. Nutritional status that is poor or bad and continues to be left unchecked will make it difficult for students to concentrate while attending lessons and will affect the completeness of the learning process. Meanwhile, breakfast is giving important contribution to total daily nutritional intake also it gives energy supply so that brain can concentrate. Moreover learning concentration is also effected by sleep pattern. The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between nutritional status and breakfast habits with students’ concentration level. This research was quantitative research with a cross sectional study design. The location of this research was at SMP Negeri 2 Banyuasin III. Samples on this research was 79 students selected by proportionate stratified random sampling. Collected data were processed by statistic software and analyzed univariate also bivariate with Spearman’s Rank Correlation. The results showed that from 79 respondents, 83.5% students had good nutritional status and 89.9% students had bad breakfast habits. In addition, 34.2% of students have poor sleep patterns. The conclusion of this research is there is no significant relation between nutritional status and breakfast habits with students’ concentration (p>0,05). The suggestion of this research that school should continue to give attention to students’ nutritional status and breakfast habits by collaborating with local health centers to provide education regarding balanced nutrion guidelines to student.
