ANALISIS FAKTOR RISIKO KELUHAN MUSCULOSKELETAL DISORDERS (MSDs) PADA PEKERJA ANGKAT – ANGKUT DI PT. TUNAS BARU LAMPUNG, Tbk. CABANG SUMATERA SELATAN
Complaints in the Musculoskeletal system are complaints in parts of the skeletal muscles felt by a person ranging from very mild complaints to very painful. This study aims to analyze the risk factors for complaints of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) in lifters at PT. Tunas Baru Lampung, Tbk. South Sumatra. This research is a quantitative research using the total sampling method in sampling 45 porter workers. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that there were complaints of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) in high category porter workers (51.1%), there was a significant relationship between age and complaints of MSDs (p-value = 0.001), working period and complaints of MSDs (p-value = 0.003), duration of work and complaints of MSDs (p-value = 0.004), workload and MSDs complaints (p-value = 0.022), smoking habits and MSDs complaints (p-value = 0.008), work posture and MSDs complaints (p-value = 0,010), physical freshness and MSDs complaints (p-value= 0.011). It can be concluded that complaints of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) in lifters at PT. Tunas Baru Lampung, Tbk. South Sumatra is caused by risk factors, namely age, length of work, duration of work, workload, smoking habits, work posture, and physical freshness. The advice given in this study is that workers are expected to take advantage of rest time by stretching or stretching for 5-10 minutes to reduce muscle tension and blood circulation throughout the body, for companies are expected to impose shifts on the work system in order to create better health for workers.
