PENGARUH KONSENTRASI CAIRAN PENDINGIN DARI BAHAN EKSTRAK DAUN JAMBU BIJI PADA PROSES PEMBUBUTAN
This study uses an experimental method. which includes the turning process using pending media from guava leaf extract, then carried out with a corrosive testing process. The concentration of cooling liquid guava leaf extract used was 25% and 33%. This turning process used 6 specimens consisting of ST 37, ST 41, and ST 60 steel. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the coolant concentration of guava leaf extract in the turning process on the corrosion rate of steel st 37, st 41 and st 60. From the results of this study it is known that different materials also have different values after the corrosion test process is carried out, for the highest corrosion rate values are found in st 37 steel with a concentration of 25% with a value of 3.050 mpy and for a concentration of 33% with a value 3.047 mpy, while the lowest is found in st 60 steel with a concentration of 25% with a value of 3.038 mpy and for a concentration of 33% with a value of 3.034 mpy.
