Low back pain (LBP) is one of the musculoskeletal disorders with the highest intensity in truck drivers. LBP is considered to be one of the leading causes of activity limitation, disability, inability to work, and absenteeism from work. The purpose of this study was to analyze work-related factors associated with LBP complaints among garbage truck drivers of environmental services in Palembang City. The method used is a cross-sectional approach. Respondents in this study were garbage truck drivers from environmental services in Palembang City. The sample in this study was 107 respondents out of 121 drivers taken using a nonprobability sampling technique with purposive sampling. The research results show that there is a significant correlation between the variables of exercise habits (p-value = 0.023), driving duration (p-value = 0.046), driving posture (p-value = 0.000), and use of lumbar support (p-value = 0.006) and LBP complaints among garbage truck drivers. And there is no significant correlation between age (p-value = 1.000) and years of service (p-value = 0.291) and LBP complaints among garbage truck drivers. The use of seat lumbar supports is the dominant variable related to work factors with LBP complaints among garbage truck drivers (PR = 16.565). Drivers are expected to stretch and rest for 30 minutes after driving every 4 hours, practice moderate exercise for at least 150 minutes per week, maintain a straight body posture with a seat tilt angle of between 100 and 110 degrees, and always use a lumbar support device while driving.
