Stockpile Expansion Area Plan for Supporting Increasing Coal Storage Capacity to 1.000.000 Tons/Year at PT Batubara Mandiri Coal Terminal, Bagus Kuning, Palembang Stockpile owned by PT. Coal Mandiri has an area stock of 0.38 hectares and a tonnage of 16.413,60 tonnes of coal. With the growing number of companies that will do the stocking and stocking targets of 1,000,000 tons / year to 2017, PT Batubara Mandiri plans to expand the existing stockpile. Given this expansion plan, a new stockpile is expected to support an increase in production and the smooth delivery of coal to consumers. In order to realize this, the expansion of the stockpile is needed. Currently, the area to be used as a location for regional expansion plans are already available. The next thing to do i s to divide the slots of each company that will do the stocking. In addition it is necessary to fmd the dimensions of the coal pile and pile distance between the ideal, making it easier for stockpile management settings. The results of observations and calculations can be seen form of truncated pyramid-shaped pile, the area of the base of each pile of 3.200 m2, 1.536 m2 area over the pile, pile height 8 m, comer pile 45° then obtained for the volume of 18.541,40 m3 with tonnage of 23.362,16 tons of coal heap. And to meet its target of stocking coal of 1,000,000 tons / year has been settled to PT Batubara Mandiri, can be support with stockpile expansion area which can accommodate 1.401.730 coal ton/years and balanced with coal total 1.029.600 ton.years.
