EVALUASI PROGRAM PEMBERIAN MAKANAN TAMBAHAN (PMT) PADA BALITA GIZI KURANG DI PUSKESMAS PASAR KOTA PRABUMULIH
One of the indicators of successful health achievement in the SDGs is the nutritional status of children under five. In Indonesia, stunting is a very important national issue to be resolved because it will affect the potential and quality of human resources. According to data from the Prabumulih City Health Office in 2023, Puskesmas Pasar is the puskesmas that has the highest number of cases of stunted children, namely 24 out of 90 stunted toddlers in Prabumulih City. One of the efforts of the Ministry of Health in overcoming the problem of stunting in Indonesia is by taking an approach through nutritional improvement interventions for toddlers by providing additional food, especially for every toddler in the underweight category. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the PMT program for underweight toddlers using a systems approach (input, process, output). This study uses qualitative methods with data collection using triangulation techniques. The informants consisted of the Head of the Puskesmas, the Person in Charge of Nutrition, the MCH Midwife, the Posyandu Cadres, the Target Toddler Mothers, and the Head of the Public Health Division of the Health Office. The results showed that overall the PMT program has been well implemented but has not fully reached the maximum level on several variables, namely problems related to funding and fulfillment of cooking utensils, consumption and supervision of supplementary food, attendance of parents of target toddlers and delays in taking supplementary food, as well as curriculum.
