HUBUNGAN STRES PSIKOLOGI DAN AKTIVITAS FISIK IBU DENGAN KADAR KORTISOL ASI PADA IBU MENYUSUI DI KABUPATEN SELUMA
Exclusive breastfeeding is important to support a baby's healthy growth and development. Stress for breastfeeding mothers can interfere with exclusive breastfeeding. The aim of this study was to analyze the association between stress and the daily physical activity of mothers and cortisol levels in breastfeeding mothers in Seluma Regency. This research used a quantitative design with analytical survey research methods and a cross-sectional approach. This research was carried out from March to April 2023 in Seluma Regency. The research sample used breast milk samples taken from 77 respondents. Breast milk cortisol levels were checked using the ELISA method, stress levels were interviewed using the DASS42 questionnaire, and physical activity was measured using the IPAQ-SF questionnaire. The results of the multivariate analysis showed that the most dominant influence on breast milk cortisol levels was parity (OR = 13.497; 95% CI = 3.215–56.661). There was an association between stress and breast milk cortisol levels in breastfeeding mothers in Seluma Regency.
