MP-ASI is a food or drink that contains nutrients given to infants or children aged 6-24 months and is given in stages according to the baby's age and digestive ability to meet nutritional needs other than breast milk. The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of accuracy level of complementary feeding on breastfeeding to nutritional status of children aged 6-24 months in the city of sungai penuh. This study uses quantitative approach with a cross sectional design. The sample of this research amounted to 66 mothers who have babies aged 6-24 months in the city of sungai penuh the sampling technique is cluster random sampling. The analysis of this study consisted of univariate, bivariate analysis using the chi-square statistical test, and multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression tests for risk factors. The results showed that 74,2% of the respondents had provided MP-ASI properly to their toddlers (p-value = 0,029; PR = 1,492; CI = 0,989-2,251), knowledge (p-value = 0,014; PR = 1,371; CI = 1,154-1,629), food intake (p-value = 0,006; PR = 1,394 CI = 1,163-1,671), family support (p-value = 0,045; PR = 1,325; CI = 1,051-1,671), while the variable that does not affect is the mother's occupation variable (p-value = 1,000; PR = 0,926; CI = 0,609-1,407), income (p-value = 1,000; PR = 1,035; CI = 0,796-1,344), infectious disease (p-value = 0,741; PR = 1,079; CI = 0,820-1,421). Multivariate results show that the accuracy of giving MP-ASI is a risk factor for the nutritional status of toddlers (p-value = 0,014; PR = 7,780; CI= 1,526-36,680). It is hoped that it can provide counseling and education as well as programs on the benefits and importance of giving MP-ASI.
