Based on data from the 2023 Ar-risalah Islamic Boarding School Health Service, 51 cases of diarrhea were found in May among female students at the Ar-risalah Islamic Boarding School. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between personal hygiene behavior and the incidence of diarrhea in female students at the Ar-risalah Islamic Boarding School. This research uses cross-sectional study design, the sample analyzed in this study was 94 respondents selected using the Simple Random Sampling technique. Data were analyzed univariately and bivariately using chi-square. The results of bivariate analysis show that there is a relationship between the habit of washing hands with soap before eating (p-value 0.000), the habit of washing hands with soap after defecating (p-value 0.006), and the habit of cutting nails (p-value 0.000) with the incidence of diarrhea in female students at the Ar-Risale Islamic Boarding School. The conclusion of the study is that there is a significant relationship between personal hygiene such as the habit of washing hands before eating, the habit of washing hands after defecation with the incidence of diarrhea in female students at Ar-Risalah Islamic Boarding School in 2023.
