Emotional intelligence is an important part of the career decision-making process. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and career decision-making in students. This study uses a quantitative approach with correlational methods. The total population in this study was 418 students of class XII SMA Negeri 22 Palembang. In taking samples, researchers used a simple random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used in this study is to use the Pearson product moment formula. The research data shows that the correlation coefficient is 0.429 with a deviation from linearity value of 0.193. Furthermore, the result is that the value of sig. (2-tailed) on the variable emotional intelligence and career decision making is 0.000
