Postpartum visits are one of the efforts that can be made to reduce maternal mortality. In Indonesia, the proportion of completeness of postpartum visits has not been evenly distributed between regions and research discussing the completeness of postpartum visits by region in the last decade is still limited. The purpose of this study was to analyze differences in the completeness of postpartum service visits by region in Indonesia and the factors that influence it. This study used secondary data from the Basic Health Research 2018. The number of samples in this study were 73,360 female respondents who gave birth after 42 days. The dependent variable in this study was the completeness of postpartum visits as measured by at least 1 KF1, at least 1 KF2, and at least 1 KF3. Data were analyzed using Quantum GIS and binary logistic regression statistical tests. The results showed that the proportion of respondents who completed postpartum visits in Indonesia was 37.3%. The highest proportion of complete postpartum visits was in the Java-Bali region of 45.3% and the lowest proportion of complete postpartum visits was in the Papua region of 19.1%. Mothers who live in the Java-Bali region have a higher chance of taking advantage of postpartum visits compared to other regions. The variables of educational status, place of delivery, method of delivery, birth attendant, and completeness of antenatal care have a significant relationship in all regions. Other variables are also related to postpartum visits, including employment status, area of residence, and parity. This study shows that there are differences in the completeness of postpartum visits between regions in Indonesia. A structured and strategically innovative are needed to increase the completeness of postpartum visits in all regions to reduce inequality.
