PENGARUH EKSTRAK ETANOL KOPI ROBUSTA (COFFEA CANEPHORA) TERHADAP WAKTU PERDARAHAN PASCA EKSTRAKSI GIGI TIKUS WISTAR
Background: Tooth extraction is procedure of removing a tooth due its condition of the tooth cannot be maintained with treatment. A common complication after tooth extraction is bleeding. Bleeding needs to be controlled using systemic or local hemostatic agents depending on the condition. Robusta coffee has a number of ingredients that have hemostatic effects that can affect bleeding time. Objective: This study aims to determine and compare the bleeding time after tooth extraction in the control group with coffee ethanol extract on bleeding time. Methods: This study is experimental with post-test only control group study design. The samples used was 27 male Wistar rats divided into three groups. All Wistar rats were injected with heparin 2 hours before tooth extraction. Then the rat teeth were extracted, given the treatment of each group and the bleeding time was calculated using a stopwatch. Results: One way anova test analysis showed p value
