Background: Stroke is the second leading cause of death in the world after ischemic heart disease. Hemorrhagic stroke is a condition of spontaneous bleeding caused by sudden intracranial blood vessel rupture, which can occur in the brain parenchyma, subarachnoid space, or intaventricular space. ICH is twice as common as SAH and is more likely to cause disability and death. Hemorrhagic stroke patients with severe complications must be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This study aims to determine the characteristics of hemorrhagic stroke patients admitted to the ICU of RSMH in 2022. Methods: This study is a descriptive study and uses secondary data in the form of medical record data for hemorrhagic stroke patients admitted to the ICU who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Result: This study found that the average age of hemorrhagic stroke patients was 57 years and the most common gender was male (64,3%). The majority of patients had CCI scores of 1–2 (73,8%). The most common type of hemorrhagic stroke is intracerebral hemorrhage (66,7%) with supratentorial location (90,5%). average length of stay 8,10, and survival outcome (83,3%). Conclusion: The majority of hemorrhagic stroke patients admitted to the ICU of RSMH in 2022 suffered from intracerebral hemorrhage, were 57 years old and male with a bleeding location of supratentorial. Had an average length of stay of 8 days and a survival outcome.
