ANALISIS SIKAP PEDULI LINGKUNGAN PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI PROGRAM ADIWIYATA DI SMA NEGERI 1 INDRALAYA

This study aims to determine the environmental care attitude of students through the adiwiyata program at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya. This research is qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques use questionnaire instruments, interviews, observation, and documentation. The population in this study were all classes in SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya. The sample of this study was taken using purposive sampling and simple random sampling techniques. The classes selected as samples include classes X-4 and X-5; class XI of the Health Department, namely class XI-2 and XI-4; and class XII of the Science Department, namely class XII-3 and XII-4. The results of the study obtained the percentage of the number of students in the overall attitude of environmental care, namely the very high category (53%) and the high category (47%). The attitude of environmental care in each indicator shows almost 100% in all indicators. Very high and high categories of environmental care attitudes in students in each indicator, including: 1) environmental care (99.5%); 2) reduction of plastic waste (97.6%); 3) waste management according to its type (97%); 4) reduction of carbon emissions (81%); 5) energy saving (97.6%); 6) management of school green open space (RTH) (99.5%); and 7) utilization (recycling) of used goods (100%). The attitude of environmental care based on class shows almost the same results between classes X, XI, and XII, namely all students in each class have an attitude of environmental care in the very high and high categories. The conclusion obtained from the results of the study is that the environmental care attitude of students at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya is in two categories, namely very high (53%) and high (47%).
