Abstract: This research aims to explore the community's perceptions in the Self-Integrated Urban Area of Sungai Rambutan-Parit regarding the development of the transmigration area using a Smart Village approach. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative, focusing on the Smart Government, Smart Community, and Smart Environment variables. Sungai Rambutan Village, the research location, has a high population density and is strategically located between Palembang and Indralaya. The research subjects involve the village head, village secretary, youth organization leader, farmer group leader, government affairs officer, and local residents. Data collection is conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation over approximately one month. Data analysis highlights findings from the informants and is presented in narrative form to describe the research results. The results indicate that in the Smart Government dimension, community participation in village governance is active, but challenges exist related to administrative services being provided at night. The adoption of information technology and financial transparency in the village has not fully materialized. In the Smart Community dimension, the community shows progress in knowledge and participation in village development through consensus meetings. However, further involvement in utilizing information technology is needed. In the Smart Environment dimension, the area has not faced major environmental challenges. The community is active in sanitation maintenance, waste management, and communal activities. However, the presence of parks or green spaces is lacking, and access to clean water needs attention, especially for sanitation facilities. This research provides a comprehensive overview of the community's perception of the Smart Village concept in the Self-Integrated Urban Area of Sungai Rambutan-Parit, laying the groundwork for further development to enhance various aspects of life in this transmigration area Keywords: Smart Village, Integrated Area, Community Perception
